These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Jyotesh (https://jyotesh.com), including the free calculators and the paid Strategy & Advisory services described at /pricing. By using this site or purchasing a service, you agree to these Terms.
1. Who we are
Jyotesh provides Vedic (sidereal) astrological calculations, Prashna (horary) readings, and related strategic-advisory services, including AI-synthesized reports, written dossiers, live advisory sessions, and a monthly retainer.
2. Not professional advice
Jyotesh is a calculation and synthesis tool, not a substitute for professional legal, financial, medical, or investment advice, or for consultation with a qualified astrologer. Any "verdict," recommendation, or timing guidance we provide — automated or written by a person — is offered for informational and reflective purposes only. You are solely responsible for decisions you make, including financial, business, legal, and personal decisions, and should consult a licensed professional before acting on anything significant.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to purchase a paid service. Free calculators may be used by anyone.
4. Services & delivery
- Instant Strategy Snapshot — an automated, AI-synthesized report delivered as a PDF, typically within minutes of successful payment.
- Written Strategic Dossier — a written brief prepared by a person and delivered within 24–48 hours of successful payment.
- Executive Advisory Session — a scheduled 45-minute live video consultation, booked after payment.
- Monthly Strategy Retainer — a recurring monthly subscription including live calls and ongoing reports, billed automatically until canceled.
Delivery times are estimates, not guarantees, and may vary with volume.
5. Payment
All prices are in U.S. dollars. Payments are processed securely by Stripe; we do not store your card details. Prices shown at checkout are final at the time of purchase; we may change prices for future orders at any time.
6. Cancellations & refunds
See our Customer Service page for the full refund and cancellation policy for each tier. In short: the automated Instant Strategy Snapshot is non-refundable once generated (except for a technical delivery failure); the Written Dossier is refundable before work begins; Advisory sessions may be rescheduled with 24 hours' notice; the Retainer can be canceled anytime, effective at the end of the current billing period.
7. Subscription (Retainer) terms
The Monthly Strategy Retainer automatically renews and charges your payment method each month until you cancel. You may cancel at any time; cancellation stops future billing but does not refund the current billing period.
8. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the site — including attempting to circumvent payment, scraping or automating requests at volume, or reselling or redistributing a report or session prepared for you without our written permission. Reports and dossiers are licensed to you for your own personal or business use.
9. How we use information you provide on free tools
Some free tools (such as the Lo Shu Grid) let you optionally provide your email to stay in touch. We only ever use it the way you specifically opted in for, via two separate checkboxes at the point you provide it: (a) to send you occasional astrology insights and Marketplace offers ourselves, and/or (b) to share your information with select third-party advertising partners for relevant offers. Checking one does not imply the other — each is its own opt-in, and neither is required to use the free tool itself. You can withdraw either consent at any time by contacting us (see Section 14).
10. Disclaimer of warranties
The site and all services are provided "as is," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, completeness, or fitness for a particular purpose. Astrological interpretation, including AI-synthesized content, is inherently subjective.
11. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Jyotesh and its owner/operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including business, financial, or investment losses, arising from your use of the site or reliance on any reading, report, or advisory session. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the specific order giving rise to the claim.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time; the "last updated" date above will reflect the most recent revision. Continued use of the site after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
13. Governing law
